GRT2  is Guvash's educational television channel, operated and owned by the  Güüvaś Radio ýa Télébizöniýe , the Guvashian public broadcaster. GRT2 was launched on Mays 1st, 1992, being the country's first television network. The channel has broadcasted 05:00AM to 01:45AM since 1993, with its programming also being available internationally through GRT World. GRT2 has a variety of programs, composed mainly of news and current affairs, talk-shows, variety show, children and youth program and TV series. Güüvaś Radio ya Télébizöne , (lt.  Guvashian Radio and Television ), commonly known by its acronym GRT , is the Guvashian public radio and television broadcasting company, being founded with the incorporation of Radio Güüwaś and its recently launched television service into a single company in 1974.
