Nova Media Group is the largest commercial media company in Azkurstan and the second-largest media company in the Central Asiery, being established in June 16th, 2004 as a holding company of CN Metropolitan Broadcaster Ltd. It later began to expand its business into three core segments: Media, Lifestyle, and Entertainment. It is jointly owned by the Shau family (80%), RTL Group (10%), Nexstar Media Group (10%).

Azqürstan Radio jäné Téléwiziyase  ( AQRT ; lt. Radio and Television of Azkurstan, RTVA), is the state-owned public broadcaster of Azkurstan. It was introduced in 1994 and established in 2014 as a result of the merger between the Azqürstaneń Uluttıq Télékompaniyase (AUTK) and Azqürstaneń Radio, which are both state-run entities.
