RTC2 is the RTC's second television channel, operated and owned by Radio Televisión Centañés, the Centainese public broadcasting corporation, previously called Televisión Educativa Centañés (TEC) and then in 1992 renamed to RTC2, this state-run television channel started its regular broadcasting on April 16th, 1978.

Similar to channels such as TTV2/7, GHK Educational TV, YCTV-9/10, and EBS1/2 RTC2 aims at educational, arts and culture content.
