Yaşlar is the Azkurstan's second television channel, operated and owned by Azqürstan Radio jäné Téléwiziyase, the Azkur public broadcasting corporation, previously called Azqürstaneń Oqu Télékanale (AOT) and then in 1987 renamed to 4-Kanal, this state-run television channel started its regular broadcasting on April 16th, 1978.

Similar to channels such as TTV2/7, KHK Educational TV, CCTV-9/10, EBS1/2, MBC2, ALTV4, TVK-3 and ĐTV2. Yaşlar aims at educational, arts and culture content.
