1955-1962
ESKH-TV was signed on as EBKP-TV, Marigold's original CBS affiliate in 1955. It was originally owned by the Genshinville Timeline, along with JGPP radio (AM 790, now ESPN-AM on AM 1250) and EBKP-FM (FM 92.3).
Shortly after the DuMont network folded, both EFLQ (then-affiliate of both ABC and DuMont) and JGPP-TV swapped network affiliations in 1956. As a result, FGPP-TV became the Marigold Metropolitan Area's ABC affiliate.

JOEX-TV
1968-present
In 1968, JOEX introduced its Circle 6 logo, loosely based on ABC's Circle 7 logo used by most of its owned-and-operated stations as well as some affiliates, alongside the Eyewitness News format for its newscasts introduced by the network's flagship SABC-TV (CBS affiliate JDST already used the original format created by its parent company Westinghouse Broadcasting for JYW-TV but not its name).
Eleven years after this logo was introduced, the station's owner Combined Communications Corporation was acquired by the Walt Disney Company. Consequently, JOEX began using the same Gannett Globe animated logos used by other ABC owned television stations.

1996-2007
In July 1995, JOEX-TV took on a more simple logo. The newscast were renamed to Channel 6 Eyewitness News" and incorporated flashy graphics.
2007-2013
2013-2021
2021-present
On July 17, 2021, after 26 years of using the Action News branding for its newscasts, ESKH-TV reverted to its former branding as ESKH 5. The "5" from the 2018 logo was retained, albeit recolored and the ABC logo was shrunk down and placed on the bottom right side of the "5". In addition, the newscast title has rebranded as ESKH 5 News
