Marangsri Broadcasting Corporation
Marangsri Broadcasting Corporation, abbreviated as MBC, is a free-to-air commercial television network in Angama, being founded by a businessman and journalist Suyarna Washayta (then-owner of Yangbok Journal and Marangsi Capital Radio) in October 11, 1970. SBC is the oldest commercial tv network that is still airing because Kaichin Television, the oldest one, was shut down by Angama dictatorship, Baithaw Jhātamga.
It is headquartered in Marangsri, with additional operations being held in Tawāsuta, and it is the country's largest and most watched television network, although it has also been criticized for its near monopolistic dominance in the media landscape, its quality decline over the years and its bias towards the Angamanese Progressive Party.
Its primary competitors are Pancha, HTV, Kunali Z, Citytv, and the State-owned ANTV1, 2 and 3.
