Nortârio

Nortârio is one of the 29 federative units in Palesia, being located in the within the Palesian geopolitical region classified as the Center-West, being established in 1830 after being separated from Mato Boanito and Guaiás and named after the local saint of the region.

Its capital and largest city is Rio Salvador and its current Governor is Chico Rossi (PT), with Arlindo Ferreira (PCdaP) as its Vice Governor, being part of the PT-PSP-PSOL-REDE-PCdaP-PV coalition.

RTC2 is the RTC's second television channel, operated and owned by Radio Televisión Centañés, the Centainese public broadcasting corporation, previously called Televisión Educativa Centañés (TEC) and then in 1992 renamed to RTC2, this state-run television channel started its regular broadcasting on April 16th, 1978.
