Makruz (Azerghiz: Makrız) is the capital, largest city and most populous city of Azerghizstan. Located in east-central Azerghizstan. As 2022, its population was 13,859,250, making Makruz the fourth-most populous city in Central Asiery. Before 1999, it is also the capital of Narghuz Province before moved to Kirghizor.
